How to embed — Save The Date Widgets

What it is

Interactive widgets for digital wedding invitations. A couple fills in their names, date and time once, personalises each widget and pastes its link into Canva or any page that supports oEmbed. Edits made later update every embedded widget automatically.

Add a widget to Canva

Open your kit and click Copy link for Canva on a widget.
In Canva, paste the link onto the page (Ctrl/⌘ + V) or use Apps → Embed.
Resize and place it. Double-click the widget to interact with it in the editor; it is live in present mode and on published Canva websites.

Embed codes

Every widget URL https://<this site>/w/<type>/<kit> supports:

oEmbed discovery — /oembed?url=<widget url>&format=json returns a rich iframe.
Iframely — <link rel="iframely app"> with the widget's aspect ratio.

Plain iframe:

Widget types: scratch (640×300), countdown (640×240), music (360×360), locket (640×420). Pages allow framing from any origin.
